How We Work

Real progress requires active engagement.

Partnership and Collaboration

Partnership and collaboration are key ingredients in my therapeutic approach. We’ll schedule a time to meet in my office. There, we’ll discuss your concerns, goals, and expectations, and develop a plan to address them.

After our initial session, we can determine how often to meet and which times work best. We’ll continue to identify your strengths, cultivate compassion, and work through your fears. We’ll explore who you are, how you came to be you, and who you want to be.

The process takes time, energy, and commitment; I’m ready and willing to give these as long as you’ll do the same.

Healthy Boundaries

Strengthening relationships through independence and mutual kindness.

Healthy boundaries are the essential limits and rules we set for ourselves within relationships to protect our well-being and maintain a sense of self. They involve clearly communicating individual needs, values, and deal-breakers while respecting others' autonomy and limits. Far from being walls that shut people out, healthy boundaries act as a framework for mutual respect and safety.

By establishing what is acceptable behavior and what is not, they help prevent burnout, reduce resentment, and foster deeper, more authentic connections built on a foundation of trust and understanding.

Self-Ownership

Acceptance that you are the sole architect of your existence.

t means moving beyond the role of a passive observer and taking full jurisdiction over your thoughts, actions, and outcomes. By claiming authority over your personal "brand"—your values, your boundaries, and your labor—you trade the dependency of external validation for the power of self-directed agency.

It is the ultimate form of accountability, where you own both the risks and the rewards of being exactly who you choose to be.
